Mia 63 is the fruit of a vision or ambition: to build an avant-garde boat with the highest respect for the environment using innovative materials and sophisticated solutions. The Mia range includes a semi-custom customization program, generally applied to larger boats. However, Massimo Franchini and his team believe that even in dimensions today considered small, the advanced yachtsman prefers to express his personality in a boat that represents him and reflects his tastes, expectations of comfort, and performance. “However, the principle remains mandatory” - specifies Massimo Franchini - “that the boat must remain a ‘boat’ with clearly nautical and boating elements.” There remains obsessive attention to the functionality and safety of the spaces onboard and to the atmospheres that must remain ‘marine’ also in terms of active safety because those onboard must always be aware that they are at sea and must behave accordingly”. All boats will be different, thanks to an in-depth design of all possible variations and the unification of the hull platform, leaving the owner with the broadest choice of everything that does not affect performance and quality, which remain an indisputable prerogative of the boatyard. Each owner can thus have “his Franchini.”

MIA is a boat full of thrilling, capable of tying that emotional thread that links the past of the Cantiere Navale Franchini to its future, in which feelings are always a common denominator.

New horizons

The first fundamental innovation concerns the use of resins implemented with nanotechnologies through a patented process that allows highly improved results in the structure, which is more rigid and lighter, significantly reducing vibrations and sound propagation. The use of Volvo IPS engines optimizes performance and reduces fuel consumption by improving overall efficiency.

Technique and poetry

ince 2017, Cantiere Navale Franchini has been part of the Industrie Cecconi Group, for years engaged in the production of energy from re- newable sources and in the investment in start-ups and advanced techno- logy companies operating, among other things, in nanotechnologies and high-efficiency solutions for buildings. The relationship between Cantiere Navale Franchini and the companies of the Industrie Cecconi Group has generated a virtuous spiral of requests, research, and applications, in an effective mutual exchange of knowledge, objectives, and results, all ai- med at improving the product and optimizing its construction qualities and its safety and ease of use. As a result, Mia 63 is built with the highest respect for the environment. With the help of cutting-edge materials and solutions to obtain a boat that responds to the highest level of sustainability.

The range

Starting from a complete and technically flawless base, the owner chooses the most agreeable one to build the boat he has in mind from a series of modules. These packages are called “UP” elements, the “MORE,” perfectly engineered, which are added to the base platform represented by a hull of 18 meters (60 feet) which with the appendages reaches 19 meters (63 feet) and is offered in four versions: Open, T-Top, Hard-Top, Sportfly.
Sporty boat, classy runabout, the Open model of the range runs in the wind to the islands with the accommodations of a complete cruiser that can welcome owner and guests in the most comfortable way. Two or three cabin layouts, with galley on the main deck or below deck.

Welcome in Italy

The sportsman - classic runabout - races into the wind towards the islands. With a complete cruiser’s comfort and cruising possibilities, capable of accommodating the owner and his guests inside. Layout with two or three cabins and galley above or below deck.

Home away from Home

The interior layouts, designed by architect Marco Veglia, are widely modular: up to three cabins and the crew cabin with bathroom and separate entrance from the deck, which can be furnished in different configurations, for a total of 55 usable square meters on below deck. The interiors are adaptable to different needs, with specialization of the spaces according to the owner’s requests. There are many variations: creating a private study, a gym, and a TV lounge. You can have the galley on deck, reserving the entire lower deck for the night, or below deck, with its dining room. The interior décor is fully customizable. The design has been conceived and studied to favor countless chromatic and graphic customizations. It is a semi-custom personalization concept commonly applied on larger boats.
